Hope this message adds a dash of excitement to your day! We can't thank you enough for joining the Brussels Cleanup on March 17th for Global Recycling Day. Your enthusiasm and commitment to our city truly make a world of difference.
Here's a quick heads-up and a few friendly reminders to make sure we are ready:
Event Essentials:
- Date & Time: Sunday, March 17th, starting at 2:00 PM
- Meeting Point: Quai de l'industrie 170, 1070 Anderlecht
How to Get There:
Whether you're hopping off the 2/6 metro at Delacroix, the 1/5 metro at Gare de l'ouest, or catching the 81 tram at Albert I, we will wait for you in the parking of the Erasmus school (yes we're hopeful that it will be this sunny).
What to Pack:
- Keep yourself hydrated with a water bottle.
- Throw on a raincoat or bring your favourite umbrella – just in case the weather decides to be a little unpredictable.
- Get ready to roll up your sleeves for a good cause!
Capture the Moment:
We've got a photo and film person on board to capture the day. If you're not in the mood for a close-up, swing by at the beginning, and we'll make sure to keep the cameras away.
Event Highlights:
- Expect a cleanup kit with waste pickers, gloves, and trash bags.
- Our route takes us from the Abbatoir market to the Palazzo, where we'll dive into the nitty-gritty of the European project. Plus, we will be finishing the cleanup with snacks and refreshments!
Last Minute Deets:
If you haven't already, snag a spot by filling out the [registration form]. It helps us keep things super organized to have enough waste pickers and snacks at the end of the cleanup!
