On Sunday 17 March, Waste Free Oceans (WFO), the SURPASS partners, Restless Brussels and Cohabs, organized a special clean-up operation for Global Recycling Day on March 18th, 2024, in Brussels. Waste Free Oceans Celebrates Global Recycling Day with Successful Cleanup Events in Brussels and Cologne

Happy Global Recycling Day!

Waste Free Oceans (WFO), in collaboration with partners Cohabs and Greendot, marked Global Recycling Day with impactful cleanup events in Brussels and Cologne. As advocates for a cleaner, healthier planet, WFO organised these events to raise awareness about the importance of sorting waste for recycling, particularly focusing on plastic waste, which significantly contributes to ocean pollution.

The project launched its first event with a waste collection to celebrate recycling in Brussels!
